No matter how versatile you are sometimes the right choice is to bring in an expert. Working with other local construction professionals is something I love to do. I have developed great working relationships with many local companies. Even though I’m not set up to do hyrdroseeding, excavation work, large tree cutting, specialty concrete work, wharf or deck repairs or builds I love to work with other local contractors.
Personally and professionally I believe that calling in specialists is more efficient and leads to a higher quality work at the end of the project. I got to do just that last summer. While sprucing up a property for new residents this year I had the honor of working with PROPOUR on a custom, walkway and patio of exposed aggregate. I was happy to handle the oversight and focus on my my strengths elsewhere and in collaboration with the PROPOUR team. All the client has to do way okay the design, pick a finish and well pay the bill.

Steve and his team at PROPOUR did a great job and we worked together to make sure the plantings would set off the walkway and the walkway was the perfect path to wind through the garden. Beyond some time to manage the project I don’t see a reason to mark up someone else’s work. When the concrete work was done he left it to me to install barriers so there wouldn’t be any weeds and plan the gardens to set off his work. Our customer was thrilled with the result and I think it’s fair to say that Steve and I had a lot of fun working together along the way.
